Trading Terms
These terms apply when you open and use a MiroNext internal (broker) trading account. Please read them together with the Execution Policy and the Risk Warning before you deposit real money.
1. Accounts and demo
Both traders and investors may open internal accounts. A user may hold up to 3 real accounts and up to 2 demo accounts. A demo account uses the same engine and rules but no real money: its balance and results are virtual, are not connected to your wallet or any real balance, and cannot be withdrawn.
2. Counterparty and risk
On internal accounts MiroNext is the counterparty to your trades (house book, B-Book): your orders are executed by MiroNext and are not passed to an external market, your profit is paid by MiroNext and your loss is MiroNext's gain. This is a conflict of interest; MiroNext manages it with rules that apply equally to winning and losing trades and to every client, and the quality of execution never depends on how a client is classified. Prices and spreads come from a single market data source named in the Execution Policy. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money, including more than you intended to risk in a single position. Nothing here is advice, and past results do not guarantee future results.
3. Use of the platform only
Internal accounts may be traded only through the MiroNext website and apps. Expert advisors, scripts, automation and API trading are not allowed. MiroNext monitors behaviour for automation; where it is detected, requests may be throttled, the account flagged and the case reviewed. Funds are never confiscated automatically on this basis.
4. Minimum holding time and request limits
Every trade must be held for at least 5 seconds before a client close; closes earlier are rejected. This rule applies equally to profit and loss. Stop-loss, take-profit, stop-out and administrator closes are exempt. To protect the platform, requests are limited to 5 per second per user, 5 orders per 10 seconds per account and 30 orders per minute per user; exceeding a limit triggers a 60-second cooldown.
5. Fast-profit hold and review
When a trade (or part of one) closes in profit in less than 120 seconds, the profit is placed on hold and the trade is queued for administrator review. The profit is released after review, or reversed only on evidence, for example a fill on a stale or faulty price, latency arbitrage or automation. Losses are never held. Held profit cannot be withdrawn and does not count towards opening new positions. On demo accounts the hold is shown for parity but nothing is reviewed.
6. Funding and withdrawal
You fund a real account from your MiroNext wallet and withdraw to the same wallet; withdrawal from the wallet to outside follows the normal withdrawal process. The most you may withdraw from an account is: if equity is at least the balance, 70% of the balance minus held profit, otherwise 70% of equity minus held profit, and in both cases never more than your free margin. If you have open positions, your margin level after the withdrawal must still be at least 200% (credit counted as zero). A minimum traded volume may be required before profits can be withdrawn. When the total you have withdrawn exceeds the total you have deposited, the amount is marked as containing profit and its later withdrawal out of the wallet goes to administrator review.
7. Bonus and credit
A bonus is granted only by MiroNext as credit. Credit counts towards margin only, is never withdrawable, and losses consume your balance before the credit. Your first withdrawal after a bonus is granted removes the entire credit; credit is also removed if your own equity reaches zero. The withdrawal screen tells you before you confirm when credit will be removed.
8. Swap-free accounts
Swap-free status is not self-service. You submit a request and it applies only after MiroNext approves it. After the grace period set for each symbol, a nightly storage fee per lot is charged instead of swap, as described in the Execution Policy.
9. Abuse and linked accounts
Coordinated trading between accounts (syndicates), bonus abuse, latency arbitrage, exploiting faulty prices and use of automation are prohibited. Accounts that appear linked may be evaluated together for risk and for negative balance purposes. MiroNext may restrict an account to close-only, hold or reverse proceeds on evidence, and require recovery of a negative balance caused by such behaviour, after review.
10. Negative balance protection and its limits
If a stop-out leaves an account balance below zero, the balance is reset to zero and MiroNext absorbs the loss. This protection is limited: a negative balance may first be offset against your other real accounts, within the withdrawal limits above; and where accounts are linked to other users, no amount is taken automatically, but the accounts may be restricted to close-only and recovery is decided by administrators after review. Protection does not apply to proceeds of the prohibited conduct in the previous section.
11. Copy trading on MiroNext accounts
Copy trading on internal accounts is subject to the copy rules in the Execution Policy. The trader's profit share is calculated for each statement period and paid from your MiroNext wallet; MiroNext takes no additional share for internal execution, and copies on demo accounts are never billed. Copying can lose money, past results do not guarantee future results, and you are responsible for the risk settings you choose. Real-money copying may require identity verification.
12. Order execution and slippage
Market orders are executed at the server's current price at the moment of execution, never at the price shown on your screen. Every order waits the same short delay (200 milliseconds) before execution. If the current price is within the allowed deviation from the price you requested, the order fills at the current price, so any improvement is yours; if the price has moved further, in either direction, the order is requoted. Slippage can therefore be in your favour or against you, the rule is the same both ways, and every deal records the requested and the executed price.
13. Off quotes and stale prices
An order is rejected as off quotes, in either direction, when the server price is not fresh (older than 1 second, 2 seconds for crypto), when the price you saw is more than 750 milliseconds older than the server price at the moment your order to open a position is executed, or while an abnormal price spike is still being checked. To close a position, a price up to 2 seconds old on your screen is accepted, and the close always fills at the server's current price. Abnormal (bad) ticks are filtered out and never trigger or fill an order; a deal later proven to have filled on a bad tick may be corrected in either direction.
14. Pending orders, stop-loss, take-profit and gaps
Buy limit and buy stop orders, and the stop-loss and take-profit of sell positions, trigger on the ask price; all others trigger on the bid. Stop-loss, take-profit and pending orders are executed by the server on filtered prices. When the price jumps over your level (a gap, for example at a market open, after a weekend or around news), the order fills at the first available price after the gap, which can be worse or better than your level. A pending order with a 'day' expiry expires at the end of the trading session in server time.
15. Leverage, margin call and stop-out
Maximum leverage depends on the symbol class: FX majors 1:30, FX minors 1:20, metals 1:20 (silver 1:10), indices 1:20, energy 1:10, stocks 1:5 and crypto 1:2; MiroNext may set a lower value for a symbol, never a higher one. Leverage is reduced as equity grows (half the cap between 20,000 and 100,000 USD, a quarter above 100,000 USD) and halved for new positions during high-impact news windows; in the last 2 hours before the weekly close it is halved for new and open positions, which can cause a margin call. When your margin level is 100% or lower you receive a margin call and cannot open new positions. At 50% or lower, stop-out closes your largest losing position first and continues until the margin level is above 50% or no positions remain. If your own equity reaches zero, all positions are closed and any credit is removed.
16. Swaps, rollover and trading sessions
Swap is charged or paid once a day at rollover, at server midnight; for FX, metals and indices it is tripled on Wednesday, and crypto is charged every day including weekends. Spreads can be wider around rollover, during high-impact news, in the first minutes after the weekly open and before the weekly close; maximum spreads are published. Each symbol trades only during its session: on weekends and market holidays the positions of a closed market keep their last price and are not stopped out until it reopens, and positions that must be closed then are closed at the first available price of the reopening, under the gap rule above.
17. Suspension of trading
To protect clients and the platform, MiroNext may suspend new orders without notice: for one symbol or for all symbols (kill switch), platform-wide when the daily loss limit of the house book is reached (circuit breaker), for a symbol whose price feed is unhealthy (close-only or halted), or in one direction on a symbol whose house exposure has reached its limit. A suspension does not close your positions; while it lasts you can still close positions and modify or cancel stop-loss, take-profit and pending orders wherever a valid price is available. Opening new accounts, deposits and withdrawals may also be paused during a kill switch.
18. Closing an account
You may close an internal account yourself when it has no open positions, no active copy connection and no remaining balance; withdraw the balance to your wallet first. A real account that still holds money cannot be closed. A demo account can be reset or closed. MiroNext may restrict an account to close-only in the cases described in these terms.
19. Changes and contact
MiroNext may update these terms and the Execution Policy. The date at the top of this page shows the current version; the published version applies from its effective date, and some limits are administrator settings that may be tightened within fixed bounds. Questions or complaints about these terms or about a trade can be sent to MiroNext support through the website or the Telegram support channel.
